For Slate institutions

Every student, understood.

Celia reads your Slate every day and finds the bottlenecks — the stalled applications, the quiet students about to walk away, the yield moving in the wrong direction. She does it without ever seeing a name, an email, or a phone number. That is architectural, not a promise.

How Celia works

Slate in. Celia analyzes. Writeback out.

One round trip. Every student. Every day.

  1. 01

    Slate in

We pull anonymized student data from your Slate Query Service — stages, timestamps, scores, milestones. Names, emails, and phone numbers stay inside Slate. They never cross our edge.

  2. 02

    Celia analyzes

Every student, every day: Engagement, Readiness, and Yield. Celia reasons on your Data Dictionary and your institutional baselines — not on opaque field codes she invents.

  3. 03

    Writeback out

Risk, Recommendation, and the three analyses are written back into your Slate as structured SS_CELIA_* fields. Your counselors work in Slate. No new tool to learn.

Three structured analyses

Engagement. Readiness. Yield.

CeliaConnect answers three questions about every student, every day. Each answer is a structured JSON payload Celia writes back into a dedicated Slate field your team can filter, report, and build lists on.

Engagement

Is this student paying attention?

What it measures

  • Activity signals (logins, opens, clicks, form interactions)
  • Response cadence to counselor outreach
  • Last-touch quality (channel, content type, recency)
  • Channel mix (email, SMS, portal, in-person)

Output

Score 0–100 plus a ranked list of the signal drivers behind it.

Slate field

SS_CELIA_ENGAGEMENT

{ score: 0-100, drivers: [...] }

Readiness

Is this student actually moving forward?

What it measures

  • Application completeness
  • Missing documents and checklist items
  • Days stalled in stage vs. your institutional baseline
  • Stage-transition velocity

Output

Score 0–100 plus an ordered checklist of what is missing.

Slate field

SS_CELIA_READINESS

{ score: 0-100, gaps: [...] }

Yield

Is this student going to enroll?

What it measures

  • Cohort and program baseline probability
  • Financial-aid package stage and timing
  • Historical conversion for similar profiles
  • Top contributing factors (positive and negative)

Output

Probability 0.00–1.00 plus the top factors driving the number.

Slate field

SS_CELIA_YIELD

{ probability: 0.00-1.00, factors: [...] }

Plus a Risk rating (low / medium / high / critical), the specific Risk Factors driving it, and a one-line Recommendation for the counselor's next action — all written to the same student record.

The architectural difference

Celia never sees a name.

Other AI tools ask you to paste student rosters into a prompt and hope for the best. CeliaConnect is built on the opposite principle: the AI is not permitted to receive personally identifiable information in the first place. Your Slate Query Service returns anonymous IDs and behavioral signals. Celia reasons on those. The writeback lands on the correct Slate record by anonymous ID. The names never leave Slate.

This is not a policy. It is a structural property of the system, verifiable by any technical review. Your CIO can say yes at the architecture level, not the promise level.

What Celia never processes

Names, emails, phone numbers, physical addresses, SSNs, dates of birth, financial account numbers, essay text, and recommendation letter text. Not in the query. Not in the prompt. Not in the writeback.

What Celia does receive

Anonymous Slate IDs. Stage transitions. Milestone completeness. Engagement timestamps. Per-Org Data Dictionary. Institutional baselines.

Lead magnet

What is melt costing your institution?

Enter enrolling students, net tuition per student, and your current melt rate. The calculator runs in your browser — nothing sent to us — and gives you a board-ready dollar number.

Who it is for

Admissions, enrollment, and student-success leaders at Slate institutions.

Four-year public and private institutions running Slate as their CRM. Every role on the list has a different reason to care.

Enrollment VPs & directors

Move the funnel, not just watch it. Aggregate yield probability tells you what to expect 60 days out, and the melt cost calculator turns that into a board-ready dollar number.

Admissions counselors

No new tool to learn. Celia ranks your pool overnight and writes the next best action into Slate. You start your morning with a triaged list, not a guess.

IT & security

No student PII ever leaves your environment. Per-tenant database isolation. Tamper-evident audit trail. Every writeback has a before/after record.

Finance

A single monthly subscription per institution. No per-seat counting. Add-on packs are opt-in and period-bounded. Predictable.
